Network AdministratorLearn the basics of routing, switching, and managing firewalls and wireless networks, Windows Server operating systems, network enterprise services, the Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Palo Alto Firewall Configuration. |
Network & Cloud ArchitectureLearn routing, switching, firewalls, basic concepts in shell script programming and load balancing, including understanding and managing cloud computing platforms such as OpenStack and Amazon Web Services AWS. |

Work-Based Learning
Northwest Vista College offers students various work-based learning opportunities to gain practical work experience so they may apply what was learned in the classroom to the workforce. If you would like to offer Northwest Vista College students apprenticeships, internships, or job placement; please contact the appropriate Chair or Director. The college also maintains work-based advisory committees to evaluate program alignment to industry needs. If you are interested in joining one of our advisory committees which meet two to three times annually; please contact the appropriate Chair or Director.
Community & Continuing Education (non-credit)
Are you a non-degree-seeking individual interested in relevant, meaningful, and affordable courses that can quickly turn ambitions into reality? Our community and continuing education courses are available to the general public. Admission to the College is not required.
